The Last Human
As the first spacefaring species in our part of the universe, humankind had trailblazed the way for other intelligent species in the nearby galaxies.
They gifted their technology to other species (that we might call "aliens"), and helped their civilizations develop faster than they could have ever imagined.
The humans' multitudes of successful colonies held control over the rest of the galaxy for hundreds of years.
However, now, humans have not been seen in a thousand years, and seem to have completely disappeared without a trace.
On the planet Kunol, Gihr is a simple Tekni - he wakes up, he goes to work, he goes to bed, and he wakes up tomorrow to do it all again.
It's a dull life, and he doesn't get much excitement - that is, until a human shows up on his doorstep. Aren't they extinct? They seem as confused to be there as he does.
The human's verbal translator is broken, and cannot speak vocally. However, their auditory translator is working just fine.
While trying to figure out a way to communicate with each other, Gihr nicknames them Niyt.
He decides he wants to help them find out the last known locations of humankind... if any of them even still exist, somewhere out there.
The Last Human is a sci-fi adventure webcomic with LGBT characters and an overarching mystery theme. It also deals with some themes of abuse and recovery.
It is still currently in the early production stages. More info will be added (or changed!) as it gets closer to being released.
